    10 dB = 10^10 = 10,000,000,000

    This means the sound intensity is increased …..10^10…… times.
    This means the amplitude of the soundwave is increased ……..10^10…….times.

    I don’t know much about hearing loss, but based on the numbers, this person seems to be quite deaf!

    I= 10^ (10/10) = 10 times
    A = sqrt(ans above) = sqrt(10) = 3.16

    10db = 10 log(Po/Pi)

    Log (Po/Pi) = 10/10 = 1

    Po/Pi = 10 power 1

    Po/Pi = 10

    Po = 10 Pi

    10db = 20 log (Uo/Ui)

    Log (Uo/Ui) = 0.5

    Uo/Ui = 10 power 0.5 = 3.16

    Uo = 3.16 Ui
