If there is a buzzing in the room and you’re not paying attention to it does it affect your hearing?
theedman22 asked:
Does it still affect the bones in your ears (possible loss of hearing)? My mother was in the room of with person with a hearing aid for 2 years and it buzzed continuously. Now my mother can’t hear well. She is 73 and she attributes some of the loss of hearing to that continuous buzz. I sleep in a room with a computer on almost all the time, but I don’t think it is affecting my hearing…? I hope.

A computer is very quiet… it shouldn’t really do anything but if you are worried you can shut it off at night or put it on standby, which eliminates the noise.
