Looking for cheap digital hearing aids avoiding costly hearing clinic prices?

smashpunk68 asked:

More and more inusrances have refrained from covering the cost of hearing aids. Making dealers and sellers obligated to rip off the people who need them such as me.

Hardly any insurances cover hearing aids…that doesn’t mean they are not worth the money, it just means insurance companies are cheap. You can try Audient which is a non-profit branch of the Lion’s club that will help you obtain quality hearing aids at a reduced cost from retail if you income qualify. But one word of advice–stick with an audiologist and not a hearing aid dealer if you are concerned about getting “ripped off”.

What do you think would happen to your premium if insurances covered the cost of every single thing a person needs? I agree that it sucks that insurance doesn’t cover the cost of hearing aids but “dealers” and “sellers” aren’t going to rip you off if you go to a reputable buyer and lose the attitude.
