I know people in the military today with hearing aids, but I’m not sure as to how they ended up with such. I’m sure they must have required them after already being in. Since your hearing loss was related to your service, and is hopefully in your medical records, I don’t see why the Marines wouldn’t allow you to re-enlist for a job that the hearing aids wouldn’t hinder. If the Marines don’t give you another chance, I’d inquire with the Army or Air Force.

I checked both the Navy Manual of the Medical Department and the Army Regulations for Retention since they dovetail together on their standards. Apparently, if you can perform your duties with the use of a hearing aid you won’t have to be the subject of a medical board for separation and are, therefore, fit for retention.
